Hey there everyone...

I hope everyone is doing well.. It's been a a stressful few days here and I haven't been much fun to be around or to chat w/. I'm hoping that tomorrow I turn the corner. It can't get much worse...right.

Bren.. I'm going to try to get in here and catch up w/ you tomorrow night after the kids go to bed.

Hey Am... I should be in here after 8ish tonight, for an hour or so...

Popping in to say HAYYYY... Snow, ice, rain, and here I am in 68 degree weather. Also, getting surgery on my ankle to repair it. Hope they make it bionic! My presentation of Italian & Irish heritage went great and I had all the kids going ooooo and ahhhh. Hope to see someone on, sometime.....

Hey Bren, that nip was made for sucking.

35 degrees and pouring rain...lovely! This weather stinks! Its bad when even the dogs don't want to go outside for more than 10 seconds..lol

Lou, to avoid all cold & nasty weather, come take a trip here and swim! Well, maybe not swim, but they do have heated pools. Ya'll are in for one heck of a winter.......

It seems every day is getting worse at work... I wish the economy and job market were stronger so I could find other employment. I HATE WHERE I WORK!!!!!

Atleast, it is steady work. And with what Pat does, no short of passing on there...... Sean installs overhead doors. Folks today are not willing to put out the cash so they can "fix" up their house. Work has not been good here lately. Anywhere, really... We have the roof over our heads, our kids have what they need and I'm just going with the flow. I don't need much. I'm simple. Put it this way. I go without. And boy, this mama needs new shoes!

And it's been so dead in here. I wish it wasn't. I have so much going on in my head right now. UGH. I just got back from the ortho and the neurologist. I've been scheduled for an operation, Feb 13, on my ankle to repair the tendons and ligaments. After they repair nerve damage. It goes all the way up to my knee. Bi lateral something..... And then on friday, I got two shots of cortisone on either sie of my ankle to ease the pain since I can't take pain medication and Guess what? I had an adverse reaction. Put me in more pain and the injection sites began to burn and my entire leg throbbed like the mother of al headaches! It looks like someone out their cigarettes out on my ankle. The doctors said they never saw anything like it. This totally blows. But I'll make it through. And then the holidays are here. My focus on the kids and Sean really helps. Sorry for rambling on. I'm sure no one wants to hear my problems......

And ya'll have been having system after system moving through. I'm telling ya'll right now! The mother of all blizzards is gonna hit. Over 30 inches atleast on one of the storms. It's about 58 degrees here and rainy. I love it!

And remember the law of gravity. What goes up must come down. Minus 20 degrees, the high, in Canada.... I like to think that this law applies to WX..... Wondering if NAO is negative.... Should look. If it is, this would most definately prove for a very white and cold winter!

Waxing. Speaking of waxing. After my cast comes off after the 8 weeks, got to wax my wookie leg.

Sorry to hear about all the leg/ankle issues Rita I haven't been too talkative lately. Work has been better lately, but I can't wait for the department party on friday afternoon...first time there is a cash bar...LOL

In snow news, about 2.5-3 inches has fallen here so far today !!!

It sucks Lou but I'll get through it. So emotional lately, esp being so far from home. I'll probably wake up in recovery alone. Sean's father can't watch the kids. He has taken a turn for the worse. Seems to have heart issues aside from the cancer. Wouldn't place the kids in his care anyway. To sick. And they bumped up my surgery. They'll call later today or I will. Either or. And does this mean that you can have a yager bomb at work??? In snow news, no snow here but it seems that you're getting some. It is only the beginnning. LOL

Geez, in the middle of my post and not logged in. Errrrr. Anywho, my parents are expecting upwards to 18 inches of snow. 2 inches an hour right now and expected to last for another 12 hrs. Looks like a good system. Rain, ice, snow...... The kids have winter break starting today until the 5th.

Could be in N Pa. right now making snowmen. My snowmen army. LOL

LET IT SNOW! I'm so excited & I'm not even there. sighs

...nothing but a cold rain here. The yard is just one big puddle. And I'm not too excited about our snow chances in the upcoming systems. Although even a coating would be better then this.

Bunch of rain here too...got almost 3 inches of snow from the last system, so I can't complain too much I guess.

well I'll be up before the start of this event so hopefully I'll see some snow before the changeover. To be honest though I'd rather just be sleeping in then see whatever measly snow we get. But if I have to be up...

Measly is right... this blew! Ice... ice... more ice... rain.. freezing rain... sleet... ice.... GRRRR!

yeah, not one flake flew here. Started right at 4am as sleet b4 a quick change to fr. rain. Oh well.

Time for bed I feel like Brenda with the early bedtime...lol Still weird for a night owl like me.

I got a dusting of snow, and it was flurries by 9 am. Sun came out around 11. 1-3" my A$$! LOL

Hey now, Eric... don't bust on me! I'm old... all old people go to bed early.

We started as flurries, barely enough to dust the cars... then to sleet, quickly changed to fr. rain. And yesterday was downright nipply...LOL.
