LOL I just checked the PA turnpike website, and my one way toll from Carlisle to Philly would be $9.40 if I pay cash, and $9.38 if I use my EZ-Pass...wooooo a whopping 2 cent savings! that is like an extra 1/4 mile of gas mileage...lol

Sorry Lou, I hope the next one nails you. I ended up with 6". It was great last night. I decided to go in Rob's chat room for the first time in ages. Was surprised to see even RobBen decided to stop in. It was like old times.

Time to start our own campaign. GIVE LOU HIS SNOW!!! LOL

I didn't hit Powerball on Saturday, so I had to come back to the hell hole. And all the snow melted.

Certainly windy out there, but the temps aren't that bad. I am actually starting to like the weather the last week or so...if there is no snow next week, I want an early spring.

I just got a 'new' car! It's a 2005 Acura TL. Maybe I am getting older than my 28 years suggest, but I wanted something more luxurious and quiet...still looks sporty though. I hope to take some pics this weekend

Must be something in the air... Pat's looking for a new truck (didn't he just get one???). Only has 26,000 miles on his 'old' new truck, but he wants a 'new' new truck. I think he's nuts, but since I don't pay any of the bills, he can do what he pleases. (Yes, my paycheck is 'play money'... wish I made more so we could play more.)

Yeah the strong winds are blowing the car bug to Aston! I am doing well. I played with the Mafia Wars but I am not exactly sure of the whole concept...I really just kept clicking continue and buy...LOL.

I hope to get to Philly in a couple weeks (guess that would be Feb 28-29). Maybe we can set something up for that Saturday night?

Thanks for the compliments on my car. It is actually costing me a bit less in monthly payment and insurance than my Mazda did. Of course the extra cost of premium fuel and slightly lower gas mileage will offset a lot of that savings. Overall it is a win win for me though

No new responses since this morning. I wish it was the weekend already! 2 more days!

Some serious shit going on here at work... jobs 'poofing' before my very eyes. We only have about 75 full-time employees... and yesterday alone, they made 3 positions disappear (one more to come today... and that is only what is known... what about the unknown???). Two of the three people have been with the club for 20+ years! I just don't understand how the club can attempt to be 'financially responsible' while being so financially frivolous... we have a fleet of vehicles here, and 2 are sitting unused. The GM is paid over $200k/annually, but drives a company vehicle... a lexus! I dunno about anyone else, but I'm fairly certain that someone making $200k/year can afford their own vehicle. There are so many places the club could trim some fat without cutting peoples hours or dissolving certain positions. Its infuriating... and heartbreaking at the same time.

Here's to hoping this trend stops soon (but there is NO end in sight)... and that each of us is able to keep our jobs. My thoughts are with all of you.

Found out today that we are getting our yearly bonus at work, and it will be in this friday's paycheck!

Also did my taxes, and I will get back $784 for federal, but I owe $6 to the state...lol

Lets not talk about taxes, I'm not ready to shell that money out yet. I'll submit my return, with the check, on April 15th... I might as well make the interest off the money.

Not sure I can make it on Saturday... consider my reply 'tentative'. Pat has his second (and hopefully last) round of surgery on Friday, and he's pitching a fit about my going out the next night. It's not like he's having a frontal lobotomy or anything... sheesh! I'll have a handle on the situation by Thursday. Though I will add my $.02... if ya'll meet in Aston/Media area I might be able to swing out for a bit. I NEEEEED a night out, so I'm gonna try my darnedest.

Hey Brenda...what is the snow report from BunnyNews? I have a whopping 1/2" which is 'blowing and drifting' LOL At least I wasn't expecting more...

How is Pat doing? Good enough to shovel snow?...would be nice if the wind blew it off your driveway and walkway for you...lol.
