Haha Rita, that is funny!

We had a good amount of ice, but this was nothing compared to the ice storm in December of 2007. The weight of the ice uprooted a tree in front of the house. Next 'chance' for snow is Saturday with a clipper.

SNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Finally a good chance at some significant snow...2 of the 3 local stations are saying 6+ is a very good possibility, and they other station was no help at all, and just mentioned the possibility of snow, with no totals...useless! lol I hope the snowblower is OK since I didn't use it last year, and I think the old gas is still in it...oops! Hopefully adding some fresh gas with help...guess i'll find out fri night when I try to turn it on...lol.

LOU! I would drain that old gas before adding new... and I would check it before you need it. Perhaps change the plugs too. How long has the old gas been sitting in it... 2 years?

The Pacific Northwest is warming up.... Hmmmmm Of course, someone will say nothing. Look at all the busts so far. My pop added fresh gas to his and a few pulls later, he was on his way. But being older, he uses mixtures. It does not blow up but he says it prolongs the life? Not to sure about that though. And he's been doing that for over 40 years..... Sighs..... Got to love dads!

What a shock...another bust forecast from pretty much everyone. Never thought that the TWC would be right when early yesterday they were calling for accumulations of less than 1 inch...what I got (and it looks like there isn't any more to come) = 3/4" (being generous) LOL Wow, winter was so much better even 5 years ago....

I was dry all day, then moderate snow for about 30 minutes around 5:30pm... sleet after that for about 5 minutes... now dry again. Barely a coating here.

And I bet next weeks a bust too... we're doomed a snowless fate.

The Eagles are coming to Phoenix! And Sean is going to the game. I'm so jealous! So happy they won!

Oh yeah that's right. So great for him. I bet you never thought they be coming out to you to play the NFC Championship Game. I'll have to catch it on radio at work.

I had a couple of glasses of wine last night... ok, I drank most of the bottle... then I slept like crappola. Now I'm am tired as hell. Sheesh, I know better than to play on a school night.

No snow, no wonder I'm drinking. This snowless shit is hard on my liver.

Only a couple more days until fantasy NASCAR sign-ups... and a month until Daytona. Woo hoo... something on TV again!

Winter isn't over with quite yet. That 32.8 inches in coming. I type with with optimism.

Brenda...I've never done fantasy NASCAR before and I'm not exactly sure how it works, but as a fan it's sounds interesting and fun. If you join a league like other fantasy games I'd love to join yours. Let me know.

Eric... I have the fantasy NASCAR invitation at home and will forward it along to you this evening. I sent you an email telling you this too (actually, I cc'd myself in that email to act as a reminder... at my age I need all the help I can get). We had fun with it last season... JJ stole the show, no surprise there... the surprise was that I finished 3rd. LOL I have less than lofty expectations for this season. We expect to have more people in our group this year... and some more competitive people (watch out JJ). Hopefully we can all get together during the season for some trash-talk...LOL... and its as good an excuse as any to party.

It's nice to see white when looking out the window. Grass is covered... finally. And all it took was the forecasters to predict nothing in order for us to get something. I hope they remain silent for the remainder of winter... perhaps we'll see snow then.

I find it pretty funny that Cape Hatteras has probably seen as much snow (if not more now maybe) than most of the Philly area...welll, not sure if that's sad or funny?? Depends on which side of the road you are on to have snow laying on the ground/grass...most of my lawn/driveway has no snow...stupid lack of trees and shade...lol.

So far, I grade this winter an 'F'! Wait, I did get about 2.5" Sunday and Monday, so we'll grade on a curve and go with a 'D-'. This sucks eggs!

I had the one 3 inch snowfall a month ago maybe, and a few .5-1 inch 'events', otherwise this winter has been a major bummer...lol. I would grade it a D to be generous...better than last year which majorly sucked until late feb from what I remember.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend...first time in a while I don't have some prospects of something to do. Maybe I'll catch up on sleep or something...lol. I haven't been to Philly in a long while...last time was for the Phils parade...yikes that's a long time...lol

I have no plans either, Lou... and thats just fine by me. Work has gotten rediculously stressful and I need some quiet time on the weekends to decompress.... either that or copious amounts of alcohol... or both.

Female bosses make life a living hell... so much petty BS and backstabbing. Women suck ass!

This week of work was a good bit better than last week...still a good share of pissy moments though. My issues come from people outside my dept...the people I work with are pretty good to work for, thank goodness. Yeah, I may get some sort of adult beverage for myself for tomorrow night...lol.

It's snowing... it's snowing... it's snowing! A crying shame it will all be washed away with rain. Mother Nature is a cruel and heartless bitch... giving snow, then quickly snatching it away. Like taking a bottle from a baby.

It is even snowing at the beach.
